We provide personalized, evidence-based speech therapy to help children communicate confidently. Every plan is tailored to your child’s needs and celebrates their unique strengths.

Receptive Langauge

Supporting understanding of words, sentences, and concepts.

Expressive Language

Helping clients communicate requests, denying, self-advocating, ideas, tell stories, or ask questions.

Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC)

Helping families with funding devices. Evaluating and training clients to use devices or communication boards.

Gestalt Language Processing

Gestalts are transformed to be used in meaningful, functional ways to support each child’s communication by a trained GLP professional.

Pragmatic/Social Communication

Teaching turn-taking, conversation skills, perspective-taking, and social cues.

Cognitive-Communication Services

Attention, Memory, & Problem-Solving: Improving skills for learning, work, or daily life.

Executive Functioning Support: Planning, organization, and task completion strategies.

Articulation

Helping children say sounds more clearly so they can be understood by others.

Fluency

Helping children who get “stuck” on sounds or repeat words to speak more smoothly and confidently.

Literacy & Pre-Literacy

Helping with early reading, phonological awareness, and connecting speech and language to literacy.

Beyond the Basics

These special offerings provide added flexibility and creativity for families who want to go beyond standard therapy services. Most are available as an optional, private-pay enhancement.

Consultations	A one-time 45 minute meeting to discuss a child’s communication concerns, answer questions about speech/language development, and guide families on next steps (evaluation, therapy, or home strategies).
Parent coaching	Parent Coaching sessions provide ongoing individualized guidance and practical strategies to help you support your child’s communication at home. This can also include guidance for parents-to-be, new parents with infants or older, and current BIG Speech Therapy families seeking extra help with GLP, AAC, or additional support.
Bonus Minutes	Extra therapy time when your child could use a little more practice, support, or individualized attention—helping little voices grow BIG at their own pace.
Corporate Trainings	Workshops for educators, therapists, and organizations to better support children with Autism and Communication, AAC devices, GLP, or other speech and communication challenges.
Independent Education Evaluations	Parents have the right to request an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) to gain an unbiased perspective on their child’s strengths and learning needs. Parents may request an IEE if they have concerns about or disagree with previous assessment results. An Independent Educational Evaluation is an objective assessment of your child’s educational abilities conducted by a qualified professional outside the school system.
